The Motor
The motor: One of the most expensive V-6 motors GM has ever built. The engine goes in a few different car models. Starting with the 91-96 Grand Prix GTP, 91-94 Lumina Z34, 95 and 96 Monte Carlo Z34.
Horsepower by model years.
1991: First year of production. 200HP and 210 foot pounds of torque.
1992-1995: Further refinements in intake, pulleys and redesigned airbox brought the motor to 210HP and 215 foot pounds of torque.
1996: Added reverse flow cooling through the exhaust manifolds and intake refinements. Bumped 5 more HP and 5 foot pounds to 215HP and 220 foot pounds of torque.
